Moon Knight is often described as “What would happen if Batman had multiple personality disorders” and makes for one the most fascinating and complex characters in the publisher. Nobody has ever achieved the same mainstream success as some of their heroes.

Particularly those who have appeared in MCU. With such a strong reputation, you might be curious about what Moon Knight can do.

Today, GeekyNerd is counting down the 10 most amazing powers of moon knight that will blow your mind!

10. Moon-Based Powers

The 10th power in Powers Of Moon Knight is Moon-based power. Moon Knight is similar to Batman and a wealthy dude who has a lot of training. Moon Knight was a superpowered character, but he wasn’t like the Caped Crusader when he first appeared on the scene.

Thanks to the many changes that have occurred over the years, the character has been open to many different interpretations. In 1985, for example, Moon Knight was renamed the Fist of Khonshu in six episodes.

Khonshu is the Egyptian God of Egypt and the vengeance.

His strength, speed, endurance, and speed were all increased by this lunar cycle-based method. The Moon Knights were stronger the bigger the moon got.

Can lift several hundred pounds. Here is where things get messy. These lunar powers were last used by him while he was on the West Coast Avengers team. This team he left in 1989.

It wasn’t until 2007, in the Midnight Sun story, that it became clear that he didn’t have those powers. He was apparently punished for disobedience by having them taken away.

9. Resistant to Psychic Attacks

The 9th power in Powers Of Moon Knight is Resistant To Psychic Attacks. Over the years Marc Spector has been able to resist psychic attacks. This is due to his many personalities. In the past, he has even been known to receive prophetic visions.

Moon Knight issue 12 also features Moon Knight facing The Profil. This is an unethical profiler for hire who is suspected to possess mutant abilities that enable him to predict and analyze the actions of others.

You might be right. Moon Knight didn’t seem to mind.

According to the Profile, his abilities did not have any effect on Moon Knight. He was physically painful for the antagonist. Moon Knight did not possess supernatural powers at the time, so his abilities aren’t applicable to them.

Profiler believes that this can only be explained by Khonshu or Marc being so insane that Marc believed in Egyptian gods and thus disrupts Profiler’s ability to see.

8. Mercenary Skills

The 8th power in Powers Of Moon Knight is Mercenary Skill. Marc Spector, before becoming a superhero was a mercenary-for-hire, which was employed by the CIA. Before becoming a US Marine, Spector was a heavyweight boxer.

He left the military to become a mercenary, and the CIA hired him as a freelancer resource.

He is left to die in sub-zero temperatures in Egypt’s desert after a failed mission in Egypt.

He is found by Egyptians who worship ancient gods and brought to Khonshu’s temple. His heart stops. Then, he sees Khonshu, who offers him another chance if he becomes the god’s avatar on Earth.

Spectre agrees to this, and wakes up. He goes after Bushman, becoming Moon Knight.

His previous training has given him the ability to compete at an Olympic level in karate, judo and Muay Thai boxing and kung fu.

He is also a skilled pilot.

7. Werewolf Hunter

Powers of Moon Knight’s 7th number power is Warewolf Hunter. He was introduced to the Comic-Book as a werewolf hunter, and supernatural expert. He was actually a villain trying to capture Night Jack Russell, the Werewolf, in a two-part story.

This is a secret criminal cabal made up of businessmen based in Los Angeles, which would become an adversary to Moon Knight’s.

Spectre discovers that the Committee wants him to be a weapon so he helps Werewolf escape, and fights alongside him. Strangely, Moon Knight appeared in Werewolf at Night issue 37 a few issues later as a demonic apparition and fought against Werewolf.

6. Visibility

The 6th number power in Powers Of Moon Knight is Visibility. This is not a real power, but a technique Spector uses to make his opponent seem more intimidating.

Marc is not like the DC vigilante he’s constantly being compared to. He actively wears a white full-length costume so that he can be seen. He wants to be visible.

This was an issue that Warren Ellis addressed in his 2014 solo title. Moon Knight chose to wear white because it doesn’t interest him in stealth techniques.

He loves to be seen. It’s his version of fear.

5. 10 Personalities

Powers of Moon Knight’s fifth number power is 10. Different personalities. Marc Spector suffers from dissociative identity disorder. It is one of his most distinctive traits in comics.

Some creative teams that worked on Moon Knight over the years have tried to reconcile Khonshu’s mental illness with his personality.

Nevertheless, at least 10 characters have emerged from Spector comics, including the successful businessman Steven Grant.

Jake Lockley, a taxi driver, has another uncanny ability: he can gather street information on criminals and their activities. Even a person is called Mr. Knight. While Moon Knight was still a vigilante, Lockley was an official detective with the NYPD.

It’s even more fascinating that Marc, during the 2011 Moon Knight Series, manifests personalities for the iteration Avengers at the time. One for Wolverine and Captain America, Spider-Man. Iron Man and Echo.

He learned a lot from all of them, and now he uses variations of their signature moves and weapons.

How is that a power?

It’s actually more about shifting perspectives that Spector has been able to use over the years to help him with his unique skills. It has also served as a coping mechanism.

Marc subconsciously dealt with his violent past by creating Steven Grant.

4. Moon Knight’s Technology

The 4th power in Powers of Moon Knight is his Tech. Moon Knight has owned a lot of high-quality and efficient gear over the years. Some of his tech is as impressive as what DC’s Batman uses. He is also wealthy, which is a plus.

An advanced truncheon can be split into two combat clubs and can also be tethered together as nunchucks. He also has an adamantium grappling hook and crescent darts.

A sophisticated hovering aircraft, the Mooncopter has vertical take-off, landing and stealth capabilities, 20mm cannons and stealth and combat gear. He also has a remote-controlled limousine and crescent-shaped glider.

He has owned suits made from Adamantium. During the Dark Reign story, he asks the Tinkerer for an upgrade to his gear. This gives him a suit made of carbonadium.

It also features joint locking functions that allow it to support much more weight than is humanly possible.

This brings us to the next level of technology and tech-savvy superhumans.

3. Shadow Cabinet

The Shadow Cabinet is the third number power in Powers Of Moon Knight. Marc Spector created the Shadow Cabinet as a network for informants and agents whose help he frequently requires. It’s a sophisticated network of computers.

Many of these agents didn’t know who they were talking to. They were recruited anonymously and offered financial payments, blackmail, deception or trading favors.

Shadow Cabinet is a tech piece that uses holo project rings with one-way communicators. Marc can see the people he’s talking to but they only hear his voice.

Marc used The Shadow Cabinet in Marc Spector Moon Knight 38 in 1992 to track the movements his brother Randall Spctor.

2. Moon Knight’s Durability

Powers Of Moon Knight’s 2nd number power refers to his Durability. Spectre is almost inhumanly sensitive to pain. He has a specific fighting style that requires him to endure every blow he receives in battle.

The 2006 episode of Moon Knight saw the title character face off against the villain TaskMaster. This man has the ability to imitate any person’s fighting style.

Marc doesn’t block incoming attacks, so he won’t be able to imitate Moon Knight’s moves. He says that it is not about speed, slick moves, or reflexes that makes you the greatest fighter. It all comes down to what you can do.

This has given him a high tolerance for pain, which makes him almost invulnerable to injury. TaskMastershot Marc in the shoulder using a crossbow and it barely affected Marc.

When you consider the other skill he has, it’s no problem to take so many hits. This brings us to the number one spot – #1 in Top 10 Powers of Moon Knight.

1. Resurrection

The Resurrection is the highest power of the moon knights in the list with the top 10 Moon Knight powers.

Moon Knight died, and was then resurrected several times, including in his origin story. His heart stopped as we said, and that was when he met Khonshu after he had been essentially killed off by Raoul Bushman.

Marc Spector Moon Knight 28 saw him literally being stabbed in his back. His soul then drifted away from his body. Khonshu saved him. It continued to happen thanks to the Egyptian Moon God.

Marc would also suffer a fatal injury in the same series. This was due to Marc’s quarantining with a computer virus.

In other words, he can deal with being dealt fatal blows because he has a get out-of-death card called Khonshu that will save his butt over the long-term.
